Trust Center Settings in Access

If a file that you are trying to access prompts you to change your Trust Center settings, here is how to do that...

 

1. Open Access

 

2. Click on Options in the left hand menu bar

 

3. Click on Trust Center in the left hand menu bar

 

4. Click on the Trust Center Settings button

 

5. Click on Trusted Locations in the left hand menu

 

6. Make sure the Allow Trusted Locations on my Network box is checked, and click on the Add New Location button

 

7. Browse to the folder that the file you are trying to access is stored, check the Subfolders of this location are also trusted, and click the OK button

 

8. Click the OK buttons until you get back to the main Access page

 

You should now be able to open the problematic file.
